Communication
Communication is vital, and it happens through:
All communications and data are kept private and secure. Children’s progress is observed, recorded, and assessed throughout the year, with updates shared at least once a term, alongside parent-teacher meetings held three times a year. Parents are welcome to reach out anytime for information or guidance about their child.
Working Together, Building Relationships
Parents are partners in ensuring their child’s best interests are met. A positive parent-teacher relationship goes a long way toward realizing a child’s true potential, and parents are welcome to work alongside the nursery in their child’s first important stages of early education.
Settling In
Transition periods can be stressful for children, parents, and practitioners alike. Each child has access to an appropriate settling-in period when first joining the nursery, tailored to their individual needs, aimed at a gradual, happy start at Kinderwood Nursery.
Policies and Procedures
Kinderwood Nursery’s Policies and Procedures cover all aspects of Child Health, Safety, and Protection, and are available to parents on the Online Education Management Portal.
